Lash Aftercare
-
Keep them dry: For the first 24 to 48 hours after the application, avoid getting your lashes wet to allow the adhesive to fully bond. This means no swimming, saunas, steam rooms, or hot showers during this period.
-
Avoid touching or rubbing your lashes: Refrain from touching, rubbing, or pulling on your lashes, as this can cause them to prematurely fall out or become damaged.
-
Be gentle while cleansing: When cleaning your face, avoid rubbing your eyes aggressively. Instead, use a gentle, oil-free lash shampoo cleanser and lightly pat your face dry. Be cautious when using cotton pads or balls near your lashes to prevent snagging. Fan dry or use a blow dryer on cool while using a spoolie or to brush your lashes thoroughly dry and fluffy again.
-
Skip the mascara: Lash extensions eliminate the need for mascara. Avoid using any mascara on your lash extensions, as it can clump and damage them. If you still desire added volume, inquire about our lash-safe mascara options.
-
Be cautious with physical activities: While lash extensions are resistant to most daily activities, intense rubbing or pulling on the lashes may cause damage. Be mindful during activities such as workouts or wearing tight-fitting goggles or helmets

-
Avoid oil-based products: Oil-based makeup removers, cleansers, and cosmetics can weaken the lash adhesive and cause premature lash shedding. Opt for oil-free products and be cautious when applying other skincare products around the eye area.

-
Attend regular touch-up appointments: To maintain your lash extensions' fullness and ensure they look their best, schedule regular touch-up appointments every 2-3 weeks. This will allow your technician to replace any shed lashes and maintain a consistent, stunning look.
-
Use a lash brush: Gently brush your lashes daily using a clean, soft mascara wand or a designated lash brush to keep them looking neat and to prevent any tangling.

-
Sleep on your back: Try to sleep on your back or use a silk or satin pillowcase to minimize friction on your lashes. Sleeping on your stomach or side may cause your lashes to become misshapen or fall out prematurely.

-
Refrain from using an eyelash curler: Lash extensions are designed to give your lashes a beautiful curl, so there's no need to use an eyelash curler. Curling tools can damage both the extensions and your natural lashes.
